China: Has Ranch! Thanks to David (from Ireland)'s friend Sue from Las Vegas. She found Newman's Own Ranch Dressing in Hong Kong. I actually haven't tried this dressing yet. But if the story on the web site is true, I think I should give it a try. What a great find!

*Editor's Note: OK, I've tried the Newman's dressing, and it's not that good. Oh well. :)

Kuwait: Has Ranch! Ashraf wrote in to say that they have ranch at supermarkets and "higher class american restaurants". He's not sure about fast food, but I'd guess it would depend on the chain.

Malaysia: Has Ranch! Christian wrote in saying, "I went to a TGI Friday's in Kuala Lumpur the capitol city, and they had Buttermilk Ranch Dressing available with their salads.  Their salads and their Ranch Dressing were delicious!"

Russia: Has Ranch! Konstantin wrote in with good and bad news about ranch in Russia. The good news is that they do in fact have ranch. The bad news is that it is hard to find good ranch. Konstantin says, "The brands that I never heard of are present at a couple stores, but their quality is not what I expected at all." He has to get his friends outside the country to send him ranch packets so he can make it himself. So if you are traveling to Russia you might want to bring your own ranch, but if you forget, at least be something for you to use.

Singapore: Has Ranch! Andrew A sent in a short note just saying, "Singapore has ranch". If anyone has more detail, that would be helpful.

South Korea: Has Ranch! It looks like Ranch is now available to the general public in South Korea thanks to Wal-Mart. According to Sam, who used to have to get his ranch from the black market or our military, "Korea's Wal-Marts now carry Kraft and a Canadian brand I had never heard of." Hmm, mystery Canadian ranch... now I'm curious! He also went on to report the good news that he "found Hidden Valley in Vietnam last year."

Thailand: No Ranch! Sadly, Thailand has no ranch. Andrew wrote to me and said, "I spent a month in Thailand and they had no ranch.. i looked all over." He sounds pretty thorough, so we'll have to take his word for it.

Vietnam: Has Ranch! See South Korea above.
