Ranch Dressing Recipes
This is where I post recipes for ranch dressing(or
dip). I don't really have any recipes right now. I'm pretty much
OK with buying it at the store, and don't see the need to make
my own. But if you've got one you'd like to send
in, feel free and I will post it. If it's not too complex,
I might even try making it.
For now, this is the closest I get to making my
own, but it is much better than out of the bottle:
Hidden Valley® Ranch
Ingredients:
1 Packet Hidden Valley® The Original
Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
1 Cup Best Foods® Mayonnaise
1 Cup Buttermilk (use less to increase thickness)
Preparation:
In a large bowl, mix the dressing mix, milk and
mayo until fully blended (a whisk works well). Chill for 30 minutes
before serving and enjoy!
Of course you can use whatever mayo you want, but
I think Best Foods tastes the best.
Hidden Valley® Party
Dip
Ingredients:
1 packet Hidden Valley® Original Ranch®
Dips Mix (used to be call Hidden Valley® Party Dip Mix, or
something like that)
16 oz. Sour Cream
Preparation:
In a large bowl, mix the dip mix and sour cream
until fully blended. Then, chill for 30 minutes before serving.

A friend at work sent in this recipe. It's probably pretty good, but it looks like a lot
of work. If anyone has the time to try it, be sure to let me know
how it is. :) Thanks!

Jason Patterson sent me his ranch dressing recipe the other day. He says that his creation is inspired by several other recipes on the web. Check it out here:
